Went to see Matthew McConaughey at Strand Bookstore. Books were pre-signed and he was doing a photo op with everyone. A pro photographer was there taking the photo and they gave you a website to go to after to download your picture. I actually like this type of photo op over the ones you take with your own phone so was happy they were doing it this way. Got to the line about 5pm and it was scheduled to start at 6:30pm. Line was a little long but not too bad but it got really long by the time it started. Since it was just a photo op and he wasn't signing anything line moved pretty quick. Super quick interaction but he seemed nice in the brief time I saw him. Got my pre-signed book and the photo was available a few minutes after it was taken. HIs autograph is one of the worst I've seen though but the picture came out good.
I wound up transferring my Bookends ticket to a friend, because I went to RetroCon. Wound up doing this one as well, as despite the overkill on security, no complaints. I've tried for Matthew on the street in the past, and failed.

These were run really well i saw him at bookends I love how fast they had the photos uploaded
They uploaded photos for this and millie Bobby are low quality which is a crying shame. This isn't the age of dial up and floppy disks where jpegs need to be 300kb

As I told you 18 times the other day, the file size makes no difference! I could compress a 10mb raw image down to 500kb, and you would hardly notice. The key is the resolution, which is 1800x1200, and that is the same one used for Jessica Simpson in 2020, and technically an upgrade from Tom Hanks (1600x1066), and a massive one from the crap I got with Mel Brooks (667x1000) in 2015.

I disagree it's not the only factor. Cause when you zoom in, it is painful. And it may be an upgrade from the others, but doesn't make it good.
I used remini on it which alleviates the problem. I deselected both color and face beautifier.
