The day WWE sells will be a sad day. I may cease my viewing of WWE if they do sell. Eric Bischoff spells out exactly why it would be sad.

Vince is ancient, and his kids are now effectively out of the company. It's inevitable.

Horrid if it happens. He has 2 kids it should not have to happen!

RIP WWE as we know it :cries:
Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment is in advanced talks to be sold to Ari Emanuel’s Endeavor Group, the parent company of UFC, according to people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be announced as soon as Monday. UFC and WWE are expected to form a new publicly traded company as part of the agreement, according to the people, who declined to be named due to the confidential nature of the discussions.

Endeavor is slated to own 51% of the new combat sports and entertainment company, while WWE shareholders would get 49%, according to the people. The Endeavor deal gives WWE an enterprise value of $9.3 billion, they said.

After seven decades in the McMahon family, WWE will reportedly have a new owner.

WWE will be absorbed into the Endeavor Group, according to a Sunday afternoon report from Alex Sherman of CNBC. The Endeavor Group is the parent company of the UFC, which it acquired in 2016.

According to Sherman, "(the) UFC and WWE are expected to form a new publicly traded company as part of the agreement." Endeavor is said to value WWE at $9.3 billion.

Announcement made. The initial reaction from most fans seems to be fear that they'll be forced to pay exorbitant fees for PPVs.

I mean, UFC PPV’s cost $65 + the monthly ESPN+ subscription. Not gonna pay $800 a year for PPV’s.

In this day and age how is that even a fear? Alternate streams and downloads exist whether the cost is $10 or $100.
